Deep understanding of G-code/M-code, blueprint reading, and familiarity with CNC controls (such as Fanuc). Mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment. Read and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings. Write, edit, or modify G-code and M-code to ensure efficient production and optimal tool life. Set and adjust tool and work offsets.
