Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC/VMC Operator to operate CNC/VMC machines for manufacturing precision components. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform machine setup, monitor machining operations, inspect finished components, and ensure production quality while following safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CNC/VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece clamping, and tool loading as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Monitor machining operations and make tool offset corrections when required.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, and Depth Gauges.
- Ensure components meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Replace worn-out cutting tools and maintain tool inventory.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Record production data, inspection reports, and machine performance.
- Follow production targets while minimizing machine downtime and material wastage.
- Adhere to 5S, safety, and company quality procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, programmers, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
