EDM wire cut programer and oprater

To program, set up, operate, and maintain Wire Cut EDM machines for manufacturing precision tooling and machined components while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety.
Roles & Responsibilities
Programming
Read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
Create Wire EDM programs using machine software or CAM software.
Select appropriate cutting conditions (rough cut, skim cuts).
Optimize machining time while maintaining accuracy.
Maintain and back up program files.
Machine Setup
Set up workpieces and fixtures accurately.
Align and clamp jobs properly.
Thread wire and set machine offsets.
Select suitable wire, dielectric parameters, and machining settings.
Machine Operation
Operate Wire Cut EDM machine safely.
Monitor machining process and make parameter adjustments when required.
Perform multiple jobs as per production schedule.
Minimize wire breakage and machine downtime.
Quality Control
Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc.
Ensure dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish meet drawing requirements.
Record inspection results.
