We are seeking a Senior CNC Machinist with at least 7 years of experience to set up, operate, and edit programs on precision CNC machinery using FANUC controls. You will produce high-precision components from engineering drawings while ensuring strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex setups and operate CNC mills/lathes with FANUC controllers.
Read engineering drawings, GD&T, and manually edit G-code/M-code at the control.
Select tooling, set offsets, and calibrate workholding fixtures.
Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize feeds and speeds for efficiency.
Maintain equipment and follow safety standards.
Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on experience in precision CNC machining.
Expert proficiency with FANUC machine controls.
Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code, GD&T, and precision measuring equipment.
