Position overview-

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD and SolidWorks Designer to join our team for Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design and Mechanical Fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design, fabrication drawings, and 3D modeling, with the ability to convert concepts into precise engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 2D and 3D CAD models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, and BOMs for SPM projects.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design custom machines, jigs, fixtures, and automation solutions.
Ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility, safety standards, and client specifications.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from production and site teams.
Support project execution with technical documentation and design validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications-

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SolidWorks (3D modeling & simulation).
Experience in SPM design, fabrication, and construction work.
Knowledge of material selection, machining processes, and GD&T.
Strong understanding of engineering standards and safety compliance.
Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years of hands-on experience in machine design and fabrication drawings.
Exposure to automation projects, conveyors, and custom machine assemblies.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workshop practices.
