Job description
CNC Drilling Machine Operator
Location: Kadodara, Surat
Experience: 1–5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production or relevant field
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC Drilling Machines as per production drawings.
- Load, align and clamp components; set tools, fixtures and machine parameters.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using Vernier, Height Gauge, etc.
- Monitor machine performance and make basic parameter adjustments.
- Identify machine/quality issues and coordinate with Production, Quality & Maintenance teams.
- Maintain production records, machine logs and workplace housekeeping.
- Follow safety standards and achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- CNC Drilling Machine operation & setup
- Engineering drawing reading
- Knowledge of drilling tools, fixtures and machining processes
- Measuring instruments and tolerance knowledge
- Basic CNC programming / G-code knowledge preferred
- Basic machine troubleshooting & preventive maintenance
Preferred Experience
Experience in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, machinery manufacturing or heavy engineering** will be preferred.
