Job description
My plant is equipped with VMC of big sizes. Programmer should have knowledge of all types of jobs. Biggest size of machine is 3mx5m and smallest of 1200x2000. Should be good in management of operators.
Job Description – VMC Programmer
Position: VMC Programmer
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical)
Experience: Freshers to 2 Years (Experienced preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and edit VMC programs.
Read engineering drawings and set machining parameters.
Optimize machining processes for quality and productivity.
Perform program trials and troubleshooting.
Ensure quality standards and production targets are met.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of VMC Programming.
Fanuc Controller.
G-Code & M-Code.
Engineering Drawing Reading.
GD&T.
CAD/CAM software knowledge (Mastercam, NX CAM, SolidCAM, or Fusion 360) is an added advantage.
