Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to operate CNC routing machines for home interior, retail interior, and custom furniture manufacturing. The candidate should be able to prepare CNC cutting files, optimize material usage, and ensure accurate production with minimal wastage.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC router machines safely and efficiently.
Prepare and edit CNC cutting files.
Read and understand production drawings.
Convert design files into machine-ready formats.
Optimize sheet layouts to reduce material wastage.
Perform machine setup, tool changes, and routine maintenance.
Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy of finished components.
Coordinate with the design and production teams.
Maintain production records and machine logs.
Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
Required Skills
AutoCAD – 2D drafting and reading production drawings.
CorelDRAW – Preparing vector files for CNC cutting and engraving.
VCarve Pro / Aspire (or equivalent CNC software) – Toolpath creation and nesting.
Basic knowledge of CNC G-code and machine operations.
Knowledge of sheet optimization and material handling.
Understanding of MDF, plywood, laminate, acrylic, WPC, and solid surface materials.
Ability to use measuring instruments and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Wood Technology, or related field.
2–5 years of experience operating CNC router machines.
Experience in modular furniture, home interiors, or retail fixture manufacturing is preferred.
