Role & Responsibilities:
Freshers:
- Learn and operate 3-axis and 4-axis VMC machines under supervision.
- Understand engineering drawings and basic GD&T concepts.
- Assist in tool setting, work offsets, and machine offsets.
- Learn CNC program prove-out and basic program corrections.
- Perform in-process inspection using basic measuring instruments.
- Maintain machine, tools, and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Support senior operators in daily machining activities.
Experienced:
- Independently set up and operate 3-axis and 4-axis VMC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Perform tool setting, work offsets, and machine offsets.
- Carry out program prove-out and make basic program corrections.
- Conduct in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining and process-related issues.
- Maintain machine, tooling, and workplace standards.
- Follow safety, quality, and production requirements.
Skills:
Freshers:
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machining.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
- Willingness to learn CNC machine operation and setup.
- Basic knowledge of machining tools and cutting parameters.
- Good attitude, discipline, and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
- Experience with 3-axis and 4-axis VMCs.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
- Good knowledge of drawing and GD&T reading.
- Knowledge of offsets, prove-out, and in-process inspection.
- Basic 2D/3D CNC programming knowledge.
- 5-axis machining experience will be an added advantage.
