Mechanical Designer

Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
Assist in designing fabricated structures, assemblies, and mechanical components.
Generate detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs.
Revise drawings based on design changes and customer feedback.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable engineering codes.
Assist Senior Design Engineers in project design and development.
Interpret customer specifications, technical drawings, and project requirements.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications before releasing drawings.
Support value engineering and design optimization activities.
Coordinate with the Production team to resolve drawing-related issues.
Work with Procurement for material specifications and technical clarifications.
Support the Project Execution team with engineering documents and revisions.
Coordinate with Quality Control to address drawing and inspection-related queries.
Documentation
Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and design files.
Ensure document control procedures are followed.
Archive completed project drawings and technical documents.
