JOB DESCRIPTION – SHEET METAL DESIGNER

Position:- Sheet Metal Designer

Location:- Mohamadpur majri , karala ,delhi 110081
Employment Type:- Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models for sheet metal components and assemblies.
Develop sheet metal designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
Create and modify sheet metal parts, bends, folds, and assemblies.
Coordinate with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
Make design modifications based on production requirements and feedback.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
Ensure designs meet required quality and manufacturing standards.

Required Skills:

Minimum 1 year of experience in Sheet Metal Designing.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of sheet metal bending, cutting, folding, welding, and fabrication.
Basic knowledge of materials, thickness, bend allowance, and bend deduction.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Candidates with relevant sheet metal design experience will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate:

A candidate who has practical knowledge of sheet metal designing and can independently prepare basic 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
