VMC Operator/Programmer

Job Responsibilities:
Create and modify CNC programs for VMC machines using Mastercam, Powermill, NX CAM, SolidCAM, or similar CAM software.
Set up VMC machines, including fixtures, tools, and work offsets.
Operate VMC machines and monitor machining processes.
Optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time and productivity.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.
Select cutting tools and machining strategies based on component requirements.
Perform first-piece inspection and ensure components meet quality standards.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
