CNC Programmer (MasterCAM)

• Prepare programs for Lathe & Milling upon understanding the scope, efficiency, output, troubleshooting if any and advise on procuring spares and better machines for improving the performance

Duties (Responsibility)

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Generate tool paths and ensure machining programs achieve optimum productivity and quality.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability of components.
• Perform prove-out and validation of CNC programs on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Improve machining efficiency through cycle time reduction and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and company quality standards.
• Support new product development and prototype machining activities.
