CNC Operators

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Operator with 1–4 years of experience in CNC machining operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring accurate production as per drawings and specifications, maintaining quality standards, and following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines as per production requirements and approved work instructions.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.
Load and unload components/raw materials on CNC machines.
Perform basic machine setting, tool offset correction, and tool changes.
Monitor machine operations and identify abnormalities during machining.
Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Ensure components are manufactured within specified dimensional tolerances.
Maintain production targets and minimize machine downtime.
Follow process sheets, SOPs, control plans, and quality instructions.
Identify and report quality issues, tool wear, machine abnormalities, and breakdowns to the concerned supervisor.
Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices at the workplace.
Ensure proper handling and storage of finished and semi-finished components.
Follow all safety, EHS, and PPE requirements while operating machinery.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments as required.
Required Skills
1–4 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing/machining environment.
Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation and machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
Basic understanding of cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
Knowledge of 5S, quality standards, and workplace safety.
Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
Team-oriented and disciplined approach to work.
Preferred Experience

Experience in operating CNC Turning, VMC, Turn-Mill, or similar CNC machining equipment will be preferred.
