Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how RVM CAD Job Portal collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when candidates, companies, admins, and visitors use the platform.

Information we collect

• Candidate information such as name, phone number, email address, location, experience, skills, salary preferences, resume, profile details, job applications, and support requests.
• Company information such as company name, contact person, email address, phone number, website, GSTIN, billing details, company profile, job postings, and support requests.
• Technical and usage information such as browser, device, IP address, session cookies, security logs, pages visited, and actions taken on the platform.
• Payment-related metadata such as order ID, payment ID, payment status, amount, tax details, invoice details, and transaction reference received from payment partners.

How we use information

• To create and manage candidate, company, and admin accounts.
• To enable job search, job posting, hiring, applications, candidate discovery, billing, invoices, support, and platform communication.
• To verify accounts, prevent fraud, enforce platform policies, improve services, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
• To process payments, activate paid services, manage credits, resolve payment issues, and maintain transaction records.

Payments and sensitive credentials

Payments are handled by Razorpay or other approved payment partners. RVM CAD does not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, netbanking usernames, netbanking passwords, or bank login credentials. Users should never share these credentials with RVM CAD support.

Sharing of information

Candidate profile and application information may be shared with companies for recruitment purposes. Company job and profile information may be shown to candidates and visitors where applicable. We may also share required information with payment processors, hosting providers, communication providers, analytics/security services, legal authorities, or regulators when necessary.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, and protect accounts from abuse. Users can control cookies through their browser settings, but some platform features may not work correctly without essential cookies.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. Information is retained as long as needed for platform operations, legal compliance, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, and support history.
