We are looking for skilled Double Column VMC Operators to operate and maintain Double Column Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for manufacturing high-precision components used in Mold, Fabrication, and Sheet Metal industries. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine setup, machining operations, and inspection of finished components while ensuring quality and productivity.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate Double Column VMC machines for precision machining operations.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece clamping, and fixture alignment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and technical specifications.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.
- Select, install, and replace cutting tools as required.
- Monitor machining operations and make tool offset corrections.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet drawing specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain proper machine lubrication and carry out basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine abnormalities, tool wear, or production issues to the supervisor.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
- Maintain production records and daily machining reports.
Required Skills
- Experience operating Double Column VMC machines.
- Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code basics.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Familiarity with Mold, Fabrication, or Sheet Metal components.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques.
- CAM Programmer (WorkNC) – 02 Positions
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CAM Programmer (WorkNC) to develop efficient CNC machining programs for Mold, Fabrication, and Sheet Metal components. The candidate should be proficient in creating optimized toolpaths, selecting machining strategies, and supporting production for high-quality manufacturing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create CNC machining programs using WorkNC CAM Software.
- Develop roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing toolpaths for complex components.
- Generate efficient CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machining (as applicable).
- Read and interpret customer drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Select suitable cutting tools, machining strategies, feeds, and speeds.
- Optimize machining cycle time while maintaining component quality.
- Perform toolpath simulation and collision checking before production.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams.
- Support machine operators during setup and prove-out of new programs.
- Modify and optimize existing CNC programs to improve productivity.
- Maintain program documentation and revision records.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
