Mechanical Design Engineer – Job Description
Industry: Pump Industry | Germany-based MNC
Experience: 0–5 Years
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and excellent mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Key Requirements:
- Expert in SolidWorks – 3D modeling, assembly & manufacturing drawings.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, fits & clearances.
- Good understanding of materials, machining, casting and manufacturing processes.
- Strong core knowledge of Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics & Engineering Mechanics.
- Knowledge of pump design/components and rotating equipment is preferred.
- Ability to develop manufacturing-ready designs considering functionality, manufacturability and cost.
- Knowledge of ISO/DIN/ASME standards is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
Language - English compulsory
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
