CNC & VMC Prorammer, Operator

CNC & VMC Programmer:
Core Responsibilities:
Programming & Optimisation: Write and test 2D/3D programs for CNC turning and 3-axis VMC machines using Fanuc, & Siemens control panels.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications to map the correct machining sequence.
Machine Setup & Tooling: Select proper cutting tools, set work/tool offsets, and fixture/jig arrangements.
Quality Control: Inspect initial test runs and finished parts using precision tools like verniers and micrometres.
Troubleshooting: Resolve feed, speed, or code errors during production to minimise downtime
Manage and assign tasks to the operators.
Cleaning and maintaining the machine.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or Tool & Die making.
Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on shop floor experience in CNC & VMC operation, setting, and programming.
Technical Skills: Strong command of G&M codes, CAD/CAM software, and cutting parameter calculations.

CNC & VMC Operator:
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine and unloading the finished components.
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
Housekeeping of the floor. Maintaining raw materials and scrap in designated places in order.
