Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation systems
Create 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
Prepare BOM, GA drawings, and technical documentation
Work on machine concepts, mechanisms, layouts, and material handling systems
Selection of mechanical components like motors, bearings, gearboxes, cylinders, sensors, and linear guides
Coordinate with production, electrical, and assembly teams
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility checks
Support machine assembly, testing, installation, and troubleshooting
Modify and improve existing machine designs based on project requirements
Ensure design standards, safety, and manufacturability requirements are met
