Floor Incharge

Supervise daily production activities and ensure work is carried out as per production plans.
Allocate work to operators, fitters, welders, helpers, and machine operators based on production priorities.
Monitor productivity and ensure daily production targets are achieved.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Maintain smooth workflow across fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing operations.
Monitor work progress and resolve day-to-day production issues.
Ensure workstations are organized and maintained in accordance with 5S practices.
Coordinate shift handovers and communicate production status effectively.
Ensure all work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Coordinate with the Quality Control department for stage inspections and final inspections.
Identify defects, reduce rework, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Verify that finished products meet customer quality requirements.
Enforce company safety policies and safe working practices on the shop floor.
Ensure employees use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses promptly.
Promote a safe and disciplined working environment.
Coordinate with Production Planning & Control (PPC) regarding daily production schedules.
Work closely with Stores to ensure timely availability of materials and consumables.
Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
Support Project Execution and Dispatch teams to meet delivery commitments.
Supervise welders, fitters, helpers, machine operators, and contract workers.
Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and productivity.
Train and guide new employees on work procedures and safety practices.
Motivate team members to achieve production and quality goals.
Maintain daily production reports and manpower utilization records.
Report production progress, delays, breakdowns, and quality issues to the Production Manager.
Record material shortages, machine downtime, and production losses.
Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.
