Inspect incoming raw materials, fabricated components, machined parts, and finished products.
Conduct stage-wise and final inspections during manufacturing and fabrication.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, weld quality, fit-up, alignment, and surface finish as per approved drawings and Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality plans, and inspection checklists.
Identify, document, and report non-conforming products (NCRs).
Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to approved manufacturing processes.
Coordinate with Production, Design, and Project Execution teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented for recurring defects.
Support root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend process improvements.
Maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, material test certificates (MTCs), and calibration records.
Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality reports, and final inspection documentation.
Ensure proper document control and traceability of quality records.
Assist in preparing quality dossiers and customer handover documents.
Coordinate with customer inspectors and third-party inspection agencies during inspections.
Support vendor quality evaluations and supplier inspections where required.
Address customer quality concerns and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and used correctly.

Recommend measures to reduce defects, rework, and material wastage.
Promote quality awareness and adherence to quality standards across departments.
