Job description : We have requirement for a Solidwork Design Engineer as well with strong hands-on experience in industrial machine designing.

For our SolidWorks Designer role, strong practical hands-on knowledge is required:

✔ Accurately measure components/parts using Vernier & measuring instruments
✔ Understand part drawings and create accurate 2D & 3D models in SolidWorks
✔ Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances & GD&T
✔ Prepare part-wise BOM (Bill of Materials)
✔ Convert DWG/DXF files and prepare supplier-ready drawings
✔ Calculate part-wise manufacturing costing and understand machining/fabrication processes

Simply knowing how to operate SolidWorks is not enough — practical knowledge of measurement, drawing, manufacturing, costing & supplier requirements is essential.

ROLE : Solidwork Design Engineer :

For our SolidWorks Designer role, you should be able to accurately use Vernier/measurement tools, take measurements from part drawings and create 2D & 3D models in SolidWorks, prepare part-wise & Project wise BOM, convert DWG files and share them with suppliers for manufacturing, make proper 2D drawings with GD&T symbols/tolerances, and calculate part-wise manufacturing costing, etc.

LOCATION : Vadodara, Gujarat

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and Development: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Product Improvement: Develop and implement design improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and increase manufacturability.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and revision history.
Prototyping and Testing: Participate in the prototyping and testing phases, providing technical support and making necessary design adjustments.
Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality output.

Qualification : Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech

Additional course: Who has just complted Solid works design course can also apply.

Experience : 2-5 year

Skills : Solid works knowledge, GD&T Symbol, Vernier Caliper measurement, Tolerance, 2D & 3D drawing.
