VMC CNC Programmer
Experience: 3–5 Years
Software: Autodesk PowerMill
Responsibilities
- VMC programming using PowerMill.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Create and optimize toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and machining sequences.
- Select suitable cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Handle machine setup, program prove-out, and troubleshooting.
- Optimize programs for accuracy, surface finish, and cycle time.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in VMC/CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in PowerMill and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, tolerances, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently from drawing to finished component.
