Position: VMC Operator
We are looking for a skilled and responsible VMC Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating Vertical Machining Centers and be committed to producing high-quality precision components.
Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications. (OPTIONAL)
- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
- Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Report machine issues or quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Production. (OPTIONAL)
- 1–3 years of experience as a VMC Operator (Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality standards.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
