Job Description:
- Conceptualization and Design
- Client Requirement Gathering: Understand the client’s design preferences, space requirements, and functionality needs for kitchens, furniture, and wardrobes.
- Concept Sketching: Develop initial concept sketches and layouts for modular kitchens, furniture pieces, and wardrobes.
- 2D Layouts and Space Planning:
- Create accurate 2D layouts (floor plans) using tools like AutoCAD or similar software.
- Ensure ergonomic and functional design for ease of movement, accessibility, and efficient space utilization.
- Modular Design Integration:
- Design modular components that can be customized or adjusted as per space requirements, ensuring ease of assembly.
- 3D Modeling and Visualization
- KD Max knowledge is preferable, and other software knowledge is an advantage.
- Build realistic 3D models of modular kitchens, furniture, and wardrobes, focusing on every detail from cabinetry to materials.
- Apply realistic materials, textures (wood, laminate, stone, etc.), and finishes to furniture, kitchen cabinets, and wardrobe surfaces.
- Ensure consistency in material specifications based on client and project needs.
- Lighting and Rendering:
- Generate high-quality renderings to present to clients for approval, ensuring the designs are visually accurate.
- Coordination with Production & Installation Teams
- Material Selection and team Coordination:
- Provide detailed production drawings with instructions and measurements to production teams for manufacturing kitchen modules, furniture, and wardrobes.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the final product matches the approved design renderings.
- Client Interaction and Feedback
- Presentations:
- Prepare presentations using 3D renders and walkthroughs to showcase the designs to clients.
- Feedback Incorporation:
- Adjust designs based on client feedback, ensuring satisfaction with both aesthetics and functionality.
- Provide design revisions or alternative layouts if needed, maintaining the project timeline.
By focusing on these KRAs, a designer can deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing modular kitchens, furniture, and wardrobes that meet client expectations and industry standards.
